Water on three sides of the lot
Waterfront footings, elevated foundations and seawall work along the Cotee River and the Gulf Harbors canals.
The waterfront work in their own photographs
Two of the eight photographs on their Google listing are coastal foundation jobs. One shows column forms braced and standing with rebar cages in them on a lot with open Gulf water behind. The other shows footings excavated on a riverfront parcel with palms and mangrove across the water, a boat at a dock, and the boom pipe coming down into the trench.
That is this town's job description. Finger canal lots on Gulf Harbors, riverfront parcels along the Cotee, and a steady flow of rebuilds that go back up on piles.
Elevated construction and why it is always pumped
Coastal Pasco is flood zone, and a new or rebuilt house near the water goes up on piles or piers with a grade beam rather than sitting on a slab on grade. That means tall narrow forms full of steel, placed in lifts and vibrated.
There is no chute geometry that reaches the bottom of a twelve foot column form, and there is no wheelbarrow that does it either. Every one of those pours is a pump pour, which is why an outfit that does foundation work out here does it with a boom or does not do it.
Seawalls, canal banks and setup
Setting up near a seawall needs care. The wall has a surcharge limit, the soil behind it is fill, and a loaded pump truck on outriggers concentrates a great deal of weight into four small footprints.
Finger canal lots make it tighter again: a narrow lot, a house filling most of it, a neighbor eight feet away, and the water at the back. There is usually exactly one place the truck can stand, and finding it is a site visit, not a phone call.

Man, First time using K&R and these guys do it and do it right. Corey and Chris are top notch pump guys that put it in there right. I will only use this company for now on. If I could give 10 stars I would. I been around concrete a long time and these are model employees that you want to represent your company well.
We had a wonderful experience with the crew from K&R. They showed up 30 minutes early, let us know about an issue with our supplier, and talked us through the entire process. They went above and beyond by helping us (first time DIYers) out, giving us advice and tips, and when it started pouring rain they even helped us hoist up the tarp to get the job done. We are so pleased with the service we received and would highly recommend K&R.
We used K&R to pump our house foundation, 50+ yards of concrete. These guys showed up on time and ready to work. They were super nice, and helpful. They jumped right in to lend a hand, going above and beyond what they needed to do. I would highly recommend this company. Its super hard to find good workers these days but these guys are it!
I've been using K and R for 3 years now. And they are my main concrete pumping contractor. Very happy with their work. Always on time
The owners of this business were very outgoing, willing to help out with whatever my needs were and made sure that I was 100% satisfied. Most important, they were the most kind people that I have ever dealt with.

Not something to answer over the phone. It depends on the wall, the soil behind it and where firm ground starts. It gets looked at before the concrete is ordered.
