The coordination is the service
On a normal pour there are three parties who all have to agree on one time: the plant, the pump and the crew doing the placing. When those three are booked separately by whoever has a phone, the failure is predictable. The pump shows up for a nine o'clock that the plant has down as ten thirty, or six trucks arrive inside twenty minutes for a crew of four.
Concrete Orders is listed as a service on their Google Business Profile, which means that call can be one call. They place the order, agree the spacing with the plant and have the truck on site and set up before the first mixer arrives.
This is most valuable to the people who do it least. A general contractor who pours every week has this down. A homeowner doing their own shed pad, or a small builder doing three houses a year, does not, and that is where an order goes wrong.
First timers, and why they keep writing reviews about it
One of their reviews is from a couple doing their first ever pour. They wrote that the crew showed up thirty minutes early, told them about a problem with their supplier before it became their problem, talked them through the whole process, gave them advice, and helped hoist a tarp when it started raining.
Read that as a description of the service rather than as a compliment. The value in it is the part where somebody who has done this a thousand times spots the supplier issue and says so, on a job where the customer would not have known to look.
Another reviewer, a first time customer with long experience around concrete, named the two operators, Corey and Chris, and said they put it in right. Naming the operator is a good sign in this trade. It means the same people keep turning up.
What to have ready when you call
The address and how a truck gets in. The dimensions and thickness of what you are pouring. What it is for, because that decides the mix. The date you want, and whether it can move if the weather does. Who is placing and finishing it, and how many of them there are, because that sets the pour rate.

Man, First time using K&R and these guys do it and do it right. Corey and Chris are top notch pump guys that put it in there right. I will only use this company for now on. Sooner than you think, especially in the dry season when everybody is pouring. Call and ask what the plant looks like for the week you want rather than assuming a date is available.
Then the pour moves, and the earlier that call is made the cheaper it is. Tell us when you book whether your date is fixed or flexible, because it changes how the order is placed.
